Nursery Schools

What's the difference between nursery and preschool?
Preschools usually work around a formal curriculum and trained teachers - making them a little more expensive! Nursery schools are usually a more relaxed learning environment and more flexible enrolment terms. They are also cheaper and vary greatly.

What age is a preschooler? Ages up to 4 is considered preschooler with toddlers are 1 - 3 year old bracket. Basically 4-year-old are not 'toddling' around any more and so are no longer toddlers!

What does preschool mean? A preschool, or nursery school, is a pre-primary school, or play school for early childhood education. Preschool is for children before they begin compulsory education at primary school.

Is Pre K considered preschool? Pre K schools are pre-kindergartens.

Cherub Nurseries

Cherub Day Nursery, Woodmansey Mile, Beverley HU17 8FF, UK – 01482 860289

This nursery is fantastic. Caring and attentive staff, great facilities - particularly like the outside space under shelter so that the children can get out and play despite the weather. My son loves it here and I would recommend it to anyone.

After 2.5years I can say cherubs is now more recently a much improved nursery. The staff are happy, friendly and approachable and I have the up most confidence leaving my two children in their care which is the most important thing to me.

I really like this school, the new behaviour system is really good and it works, students now get stamps as rewards and if you get a certain amount you get a big reward. Teachers are good. Also the school is getting a new building ao students don't have to walk upper school and lower.☺😀

Top Class Tuition

Bielby Dr, Beverley HU17 0RX, UK – 01482 872271

Fantastic tutor! Really personable, friendly and understanding of your difficulties. Has a great subject knowledge too! Without Tina I wouldn't have passed my Maths Skills test for my Qualified Teacher Status! I would highly recommend this tuition ! Thanks Again Tina!

“All I wanted from a tutor was for them to build my son’s confidence enough to convince him that he could improve his standard of English enough to pass an examination. Being dyslexic in an education system that’s geared to ‘round pegs’ is hard work, and many tutors won’t take on the challenge of trying to support these commercially ‘high-risk’ students. I applaud Tina for not only taking on the challenge, but also for her appreciation and gentle coaxing, gradually building on what my son can do, not what he can’t.The education system had almost written my son off. I know Tina won’t.” JD - Parent

I am still in it and it is fantastic never been to a better school! Probably the most child friendly school. We have a show every year for the children and parents to watch every year but you have to be year 4+. If your child is a great actor in year 5+ they could audition for a main part and Mr Longcaster is the director and chooses what role is best for your child. So if you a thinking about letting your child come to this school I would recommend it to you it is perfect!

Brilliant facilities, energetic atmosphere and wonderful staff. The hub of primary education in the region.
